Progress Update: Single Page Website with HTML and CSS

Just documenting some programming learning progress!

I start my 3 month coding bootcamp, Orange County Code School, next week and I’ve been trying to get as much practice as possible so that I can hit the ground running and use the bootcamp time to work through more complicated projects and get really proficient at Angular.js, and Node.js. I’d also like to try using D3.js – I’ve been seeing that library mentioned a couple of times in my reading.

I’ve already gone through Codecademy’s Javascript, AngularJS, and HTML CSS courses, as well as some courses on Udemy that I mentioned in a previous pre-learning blog post. I’m currently working through another video tutorial on creating a simple responsive single-page-website using HTML, CSS, and I guess jQuery later on (I haven’t gotten to that part yet).

You can keep up with my website-tutorial progress on this GitHub Repo

Some fun/useful tools I’ve used so far:
